There's no need to lie. It's like poker. The truth is best.
The others still think you're bluffing, so you win.

54. non-fiction.
i was looking up titles in NoveList for a project and came across THIS:
"When a P.O.D. concert ends with far flung fireworks, frozen souls, and an alien intruder, the band's members find themselves called to a greater mission: find the mysterious entity known only as 'The Chosen.' As aliens invade the Earth and the evil being, The Soul Shredder, threatens to pit one against the other, Sonny, Wuv, Traa, and Marcos use their super powers to save the world."
yessssssssssssss.
i'm glad at least one early 21st century christian rock band is looking out for us.
and i know what i'm buying everyone for their birthday this year.

51. history.
the paper i'm writing tonight involves making up a fake collection for an imaginary archive in need of a preservation plan for its audiovisual materials.
in it, my hometown is the subject of several mid-1980s PBS documentaries about its status as the premier haven for midwestern criminals during and after the prohibition.
homework can be spunky when you want it to be.

49. motivation.
i am at once stressed and apathetic about structured schoolwork at this point in time.
let's just read and talk and learn and be better people for it.
at the same time, i can't call any of these assignments unreasonably difficult or useless, so perhaps a solid night's sleep and adjustment of perspective is in order.
or maybe just some chocolate.

46. nut bar.
one on-campus class session down, two to go tomorrow.
i've never been to school on saturday before (that's for troublemakers).
these all day sessions occur after 7 weeks of purely online classes, so its like if you were used to playing an online RPG* and then got together with all of your internet people for pizza and then you saw their voices come out of their faces and you were like "huh?"**
or something.
*which i am not.
**"that is not what you should look like."
